Our Neighbourhood: Bonfim
Home Made Guest Studios are located in a very traditional neighborhood, Bonfim, between Jardim de S.Lázaro, Campo 24 de Agosto and Campanhã Railway station.
Bonfim neighborhood keeps a very own rhythm and a characteristic personality. It is deeply connected to the historic center but at the same time taking a more reserved life. Mundane and private, secret and introverted, its own charm and low key passe makes it a still hidden gem inside the high trendy and busy Oporto.
We are very close to the city downtown but far enough to guarantee a calmer and quieter stay. Being very central, is in walking distance of most cultural landmarks, trendy dining spots and shopping attractions. Within 15 minutes walk, you can reach typical quarters like Ribeira, Sé, Batalha, Clérigos, e Avenida dos Aliados. In our street (Rua do Heroísmo) you will find all the relevant services such as restaurantes, coffees, supermarkets, drugstores, etc. And if you are not a walking people, you have the Heroísmo metro station just across the street!
