Arrivals / Departures (Check-in / Check-Out)
. As there is no 24-hour reception, the arrival time must be communicated at least 24 hours in advance.
. Regular check-in is between 9 AM and 8 PM. Any check-in outside these hours must be made by prior arrangement. If this is the case please contact us.
. For arrivals until 2pm we can not guarantee that the studio will be ready but we will be happy to store your luggage and give you the keys so that you can return later.
. For legal and safety reasons, the data of all the occupants of each studio are registered, and these must be accompanied by an identification document with photograph at the time of check-in. In no case should the maximum number of occupants foreseen in each studio be exceeded.
. The checkout must be done by 12 noon on the day of departure.
Booking confirmation
. Reservations made directly with our services, in person, by e-mail or by telephone, will only be accepted after full payment by Paypal or by receipt of valid data of a credit card, namely a card number, name of the holder, respective expiration date and security number – credit card details will be taken as an acceptance of our terms. Credit cards authorized by the cardholder will be accepted (if the cardholder is not available, then proof of authorization must be granted at the time of reservation).
. The reservation is considered confirmed when you have received a written confirmation. In this email you will be asked to fill out a form with reservation and personal details (in case you are a foreign citizen). These data are required by the request of Portuguese Emigration Service (SEF) and filling out the online form will make checkin easier and quicker. If you do not want to fill in online you will be asked to fill out the same paper form at checkin. . When confirmed, your reservation is absolutely secure. All your personal data will be received and processed safely.
Payment
. Home Made Guest Studios is only responsible for payments for the services it makes available directly, and reservations that are made at Online Travel Agencies, as well as other partners, are subject to their own regulations.
. Credit Cards Accepted: Visa, Master Card and American Express. Home Made Guest Studios reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards prior to arrival. We also accept transfers via MBWAY (tel: 96 53 434 52).
. In the case of reservations made through our website and paid by Paypal, the value is immediately transferred to our account, and no payment is required at the time of check-in. In case of cancellation, where there is a right to return the amount paid, according to the details below, this will be made through the same Paypal account used.
. When confirming the reservation, your card details are only for security and will be retained up to 7 days after check-out. Payment is made in person at check-in. Only in cases where there is an unpaid amount, cases of damages or thefts, cancellations or non-appearances, as detailed below, may be charged. The amount can never exceed the value of the respective room rates, extra services requested and damages or thefts calculated or other rates that apply.
. Payment can be made in cash (euros), by credit card, debit card or in advance by bank transfer, PayPal or MBWay.
. In compliance with the regulation of 63/2018 of the Municipality of Porto, the Municipal Tourist Tax will be charged, in the amount of € 2.00 per night, to all guests over 13 years of age, in order to continue to ensure Porto as a destination of sustainable reference. In effect for reservations after 28 February 2018.

Cancellation
. Requests for cancellation and subsequent confirmation must be made in writing, with the respective date and time.
. If canceled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.
. The full amount of the reservation will be charged if cancellation / changes are made less than 7 days prior to the expected date of arrival. The same rule applies if there is no show on the date of arrival.
. No cancellation will be accepted after check-in.
. In case of premature departure, the customer will not be entitled to any refund.
. Changes on original reservations are subject to availability, but will incur no administration fee.
. Should there is the need to cancel the reservation is due to responsibility of Home Made Guest Studios, as long as the reason for the cancellation does not come from the respective guest, the guest will have a full refund of the payments made up to that time. In this case and by guest request, we will make every reasonable effort to attempt to relocate any confirmed reservation and canceled by us to an alternative location similar to our standards.
Children and extra beds
. All children are welcome at Home Made Guest Studios.
. All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
. All children from 4 years old who use extra bed or sofa bed pay the daily extra person rate: 15 € / night.
. All guests under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and must be supervised by him at all times of his stay.
. There is a baby cot available on request and must be confirmed at the time of booking.

Pets
. We are happy to receive your pet at our house. We have available bowls for water and food and even an extra bed on request. The stay of your pet does not have any added cost.
Behavior of the Guests
. Guests are only required to behave appropriately at all times of the stay and in accordance with the procedures and / or requests of those responsible with respect to the conduct and respect for the property of Home Made Guest Studios, its employees and customers, taking into consideration health and safety.
. Guests are kindly requested not to disturb the comfort of other guests, the operation of the hotel, or at any time offend customers or employees. In that case we reserve the right to refuse accommodation or any other services, as well as to remove the guest or any of the members who caused the disturbance which, in our opinion, violated some rule. When this is the case, Home Made Guest Studios shall have no obligation to reimburse the guest for the lost accommodation, services or any other loss or expense incurred thereby.
. It is strictly forbidden to take or use any of the objects or utensils available in studios outside of Home Made Guest Studios (except for the umbrellas we provide). In case of theft of any object or utensil, Home Made Guest Studios reserves the right to charge the value of the respective guest card pieces provided for the reservation.
. The client is responsible for all damages incurred in the studios or house caused by him, his guests or any other persons for whom he is responsible.
. Guests are requested to keep silent between 10:00 pm and 9:00 am.
Security rules
. In order to prevent fires and other accidents that could endanger your health, the health of neighbors and other guests, we ask you to take into account the basic safety rules. Guests must also take all necessary precautions to prevent theft within our premises. It is advisable to check all doors and windows before leaving the building. For your own safety, pay particular attention to the front door and make sure that it is properly closed. We ask that our guests maintain cordial relations with all neighbors. Please contact the responsible of Home Made Guest Studios in case of any disturbance. Although Porto is a quiet city, urban environments can be conducive to less secure situations. We therefore caution our guests, especially during night-time pedestrians. For those with a car, it is essential not to leave valuables inside the vehicle.
.All our studios are equipped with fire blankets places close to the kitchenettes. There are also fire extinguishers on all floors, placed near the entrances of the studios. We also provide a first aid kit.
Responsibility / Complementary Information
. Home Made Guest Studios reserves the right to terminate the agreement without prior notice if the guest uses the rented rooms for another purpose that does not meet the requirements described in these Terms & Conditions. In that case the full amount of the initial agreement will be charged.
. While there is an effort to ensure that all information in our advertising material is correct at the time of printing, we reserve all rights to change, replace or remove any service, installation or amenity at any time without notice and only if required.
. We are not responsible for the loss or damage of any property left at Home Made Guest Studios.
. Guests can use the wireless broadband service for free, but we will not be liable for any loss of service or damage to the data on the computer.
. We are not responsible for any damage to the vehicles of customers or visitors stationed in locations adjacent to Home Made Guest Studios.
. We are not responsible for any damage or theft on the vehicles of customers parked in the undercover car park of Home Made Guest Studios. These vehicles are subject to the regulation of the park in question.
. Under no circumstances should the studio be subaluged.
. No liability will be assumed for loss of money or valuables.
. Unless we prove any kind of negligence on our part, Home Made Guest Studios shall not be liable for damages to persons, or any property, of any client or visitor to the rooms or general facilities.
. The keys to the room and house must be left at the reception upon departure; in case of loss or loss will be charged € 25 per item.
. Home Made Guest Studios has a non-smoking policy except in our outdoor patio.
At the present, the client assumes and guarantees that he will not keep in any of the areas of Home Made Guest Studios the following situations:
. Firearms, illicit drugs and any other illegal goods.
. Any subject specified as being prohibited in any notice or written list issued over time by the management of Home Made Guest Studios
. The customer hereby guarantees that they will not use the room for any purpose that is illegal.
. This agreement is subject to Portuguese law.
Privacy
. Home Made Guest Studios emphasizes that the privacy of your personal data is very important. Your personal information will be added to our database, but will not be shared with third parties.
Claims
. There is a Complaints Book in the building. We will do everything in our power so that its use goes unnoticed and that with the passage of time becomes a superfluous object.
